Our Featured Dogs
Please note: While we think that all greyhounds are "perfect" the dog you fall in love with here might not be the best fit for your home.  Our mission is to match dogs with people.  That is why our dogs here are all profiled and fostered.  We can help you find the right dog for your home.  We want your experience to be positive and we want our dogs to find FOREVER homes!

Meet Wade.  Wade (born December 21, 2009) is one of the most handsome and unique greyhounds we've ever had come in to our program.  He is gorgeous with his light gold eyes and his black face with the white stripe up the middle.  However, once you get past that look that mesmerizes, he is an awesome dog!  He is happy, happy, happy and as friendly as any greyhound can be.  His tail makes a perfect letter "C" when he walks but not because he is trying to be dominant.  He is just so happy.  He will make a great family pet because he is so funny and enjoys everything.  He gets along great in his foster home (no accidents) and he is cat friendly as well.  Wade will be easy to spoil since he is so funny.  We think he would do great in almost any home but should be trained to know the rules as he could get away with a lot because of his personality.  What a dog!!

Meet Bergman.  Bergman is one of two available littermates (along with Garbo) that are now in our program and are looking for their forever homes.  Bergman is a gorgeous dark brindle girl and a real show stopper.  She was born June 3, 2009 and she weighs 67 pounds.  She is more reserved than her littermate but is not shy.  It just takes her a little longer to adjust to her surroundings.  Once she is comfortable, her true personality comes out.  We think Bergman is cat friendly but we are going to retest her soon; check back for more info soon.  Like her littermate she is an easy dog to care for and likes all the other dogs in her foster home.  Bergman will be at some of our meet and greet events; check our calendar of events for more info.  If you are looking for a pair of dogs, consider these littermates; they are great together!!  P.S. She smiles!

Garbo is here!  Like her littermate Bergman, she is a gorgeous dark brindle beauty that creates a stir everywhere she goes.  She was born June 3, 2009 and she weighs 65 pounds.  Like her littermate, she is tall and graceful.  She is a more "middle of the road" dog than her littermate.  While she can be very happy and playful at times, she is also very quiet and laid back.  She looks so much like her littermate but she has a "mohawk" that makes her easier to identify.  She loves people and gets along very well with all of the other dogs in her foster home.  She is great in her crate and goes in without any commands.  She is easy going and seems to like to roll with the flow.  She is good on the leash and also likes taking walks.  She is also cat friendly.  Garbo will be attending our meet and greet events soon so come on out and meet her.  Considering adopting a pair?  These girls would all do well in a home together. P.S. She smiles!

Scotch is an exceptionally sweet and gentle black boy with a most wonderful personality.  He is five years old and he weighs 78 pounds.  Although he is a little reserved when you first meet him, it doesn't take long to find out that he is loving and politely outgoing.  He is good in and out of his crate and is an easy dog to live with.  Scotch doesn't counter surf, get on furniture and is clean in the house.  He is gentle and tolerant with big and small dogs and cats.  He understands a lot and responds to "do you want to go out"  and "kennel up".  He is very easy to train because he loves to please.    Scotch loves to be brushed and loves affection.  He would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a dog to cuddle and love.  He is very responsive and enjoys the attention.  This boy is special; come meet him at one of our meet and greet events and fall in love!!

Serena
Serena is a very gentle natured and calm girl that is easy to love.  She will be four years old in April.  She is a bit reserved when she first meets people but it doesn't take her long to show her true self.  She is a very calm natured girl and is on the quiet side.  She is not shy or fearful in the least - she just needs to size up her surroundings first.  She is awesome in her foster home and is a very easy dog to care for.  She gets along well with the other greyhounds in her foster home, small dogs and she is cat friendly.  She walks well on the leash and loves going for walks.   Serena would make a wonderful companion dog for a retired person or someone who wants a special friend to share a couch with.  She is a love bug that will appreciate all the attention she can get.  If you are looking for a greyhound like Serena, you will definitely find the dog of your dreams in her.  Contact us for more information.

Watson
Are you looking for laid back, quiet, loving, sweet, mellow, handsome, etc.?  Then Watson is your dog!  Watson was born February 4, 2009 and he weighs around 80 pounds.  He is so handsome with his gorgeous red coat and dark eyes.  To say that he is a big love bug is an understatement.  He has a great easy going personality and gets along in almost any environment.  He gets along wonderfully in his foster home and came in like he knew the ropes already.  He is cat friendly and gets along with most small dogs as well.  He loves going for long walks and is good on the leash.  He is great in his crate and has had no issues with house training at all.  Nothing seems to bother him; he just rolls with the flow.  Watson will be attending some of our upcoming meet and greet events.  Come out and visit him and you will understand why we love him so much!

Mac
When if comes to defining what a "wonderful dog" is, Mac would be the poster dog!  Mac is six years old and weighs 80 pounds.  He is what we could call a big love bug.  Although he may look like a senior dog, his white face and salt and pepper coat are natural markings for him.  Mac is the sweetest and most gentle greyhound and would make almost any adopter the perfect companion.  Not only that, he is a HUGE smiler!  He greets everyone with his smile and immediately makes everyone fall in love with him.  He is a gentle and loving spirit; he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is cat friendly as well.  He has exemplary leash manners and is perfect in his foster home in all respects.  If you are looking for an easy dog to live with and want to experience the true love of a dog, then Mac is for you!  Call soon as he may not be around long!!
